Job Description for Political Analyst Roles 

About the Role: 

 Political Analysts (PAs) are part of project teams in the election campaigns and work with the KRAC team to execute political and campaign strategies for the client (political party). PAs are responsible for managing the ground team reporting to them, macro-level strategy at the state and zone level and designing and executing campaigns. 

Primary tasks done by PAs include (and are not limited to): 

● Manage and lead a team of Field Associates under them, checking their compliance with day-to-day work and the quality of their output. 

● Monitor and report the political developments in their respective zones/regions via media scans and in-depth interviews with influencers. 

● Frequent ground visits to collect ground intelligence as per the requirement. ● Lead generation and hiring of the ground network (FAs and volunteer network) ● Reporting current political situation and designing strategies for the client ● Identify & make contacts with general & political influencers in the allotted zones and states. 

● Assist their team leads in the identification of specific locations for various campaign initiatives. 

● Understanding the political narrative on social media by collating, tagging and analysing social media posts. 

Desired Qualifications & Experience 

● Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Candidate with internship experience would be an advantage) 

● Basic Microsoft Word documentation and Microsoft Excel skills 

Assam_BTR Region

● Fluency in Bodo and a basic understanding of English & Hindi (Assam_BTR)

• Residing in the BTR region (Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Tamulpur, or Udalguri district)

● Local to the BTR region who has a good knowledge of the culture, demographics, and political dynamics of the local region 

Assam_Karbi Anglong

        ● Fluency in Karbi and a basic understanding of English & Hindi 

• Residing in the Karbi region (Karbi Anglong or West Karbi Anglong district)

● Local to the Karbi Anglong region who has a good knowledge of the culture, demographics, and political dynamics of the local region 

● Good networking skills are a must. Should be dynamic and flexible in terms of his/her outlook towards work 

● Must possess a computer/laptop, smartphone and a bike 

This is a contractual role till April 2025 

The applications will be processed on a rolling basis 

Remuneration: 25000-35000 (depending upon experience)
