Manager

 

Responsible for Overall stores operation , Oversea all areas of stores including ,

 

Major responsibilities: (most important tasks, not more than 8 headlines, defined in 2-3 sentences only)

 

 

1.          Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.

2.          Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.

3.          Ensure timely and accurate data entry, GRNs, stock transfers, and reporting.

4.          Lead, mentor, and develop a team of store executives and support staff.

5.          Allocate responsibilities, set KPIs, and conduct performance reviews.

6.          Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

7.          Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory regulations.

8.          Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.

9.          Maintain documentation and records for traceability and compliance.

10.      Liaise with procurement, production, quality, and finance teams for seamless operations.

11.      Support planning and forecasting activities with accurate inventory data.

12.      Handle vendor interactions related to material returns, discrepancies, and logistics.

13.      Ensure proper verification of material against invoice and packaging adherence. Resolve issues related material shortage, damage, rust and improvements in material packaging.

14.      Digitalization projects in Goods Inward & material storage area. Warehouse management (WM), Bar code GRN and visualisation projects

15.      Support for GRN booking, Line feeding activities, critical material monitoring.

16.      Co-ordination with respective area owners and handover their material & get acknowledgment for the same

17.      Perpetual inventory process to be conducted

18.      Trading material receipt, storage and transfer to finished goods as per customer requirement

19.      Weekly Clearing of in process rejection receipt from shop.

20.      Timely clearance of KSB Foundry and other rejection to avoid accumulation.

21.      Working on Non-Moving items suggested by MRP team for timely clearance.

22.      Responsible for Physical Vs Stores stock with 100% accuracy

23.      Responsible to feed good quality parts – Rust free, damage free, dust free, as per part number, as per required MOC, with zero shortages, with blue separators in defined trolley system

DME or BE Mechanical

 

 

Experience in Engineering or related Industry is preferred.

 

For Diploma Mech 15 To 20 or  10 to 15 years for BE Mech
