Retail Sales Executive

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Store Executive to manage day-to-day operations at our Philips Smart Lighting Hub in Solapur. The role covers sales, customer handling, inventory, billing, field visits, and business development activities. A background in electricals, electronics, or related degree/experience will be considered an added advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Engagement

• Greet and guide customers, explain smart lighting solutions, and provide live demonstrations.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Philips smart lighting products.
• Achieve sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling.
• Conduct site visits and give on-site demonstrations.
• Identify and develop new potential sites and projects.
• Meet architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors to generate business and leads.

Store & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records and manage inward/outward movements.
• Ensure timely procurement and stock replenishment.
• Oversee product display, store ambience, and ensure all demo units are functional.

Billing & Reporting

• Manage billing operations, invoices, and digital/cash/card payments.
• Keep daily sales, expenses, and stock reports updated.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions.

Other Responsibilities

• Support promotional campaigns, events, and seasonal offers.
• Perform any other work or task assigned as per business needs.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate / Diploma in Business, Commerce, Electrical, or related field.
• Tally Prime knowledge.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, store operations, or customer handling preferred.
• Electrical / electronics knowledge or degree will be a plus.
• Willingness to do field work and site visits.
• Proficiency in MS Office and billing/inventory software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
