Front Office Executive

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Guest Service & Interaction: Welcoming guests warmly upon arrival, managing check-ins/check-outs, providing information about hotel amenities, and handling guest complaints or queries efficiently.
• Reservations & Room Management: Booking rooms via phone, email, or online systems, managing room availability, assigning rooms, and processing special requests.
• Administrative & Financial Tasks: Processing payments, managing guest accounts/folios, preparing daily reports, maintaining accurate records, and handling cashier functions.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaising with the housekeeping department to ensure rooms are cleaned, prepared, and ready for check-in.
• Sales & Promotion: Upselling room upgrades and promoting hotel services like spa treatments or restaurant dining.
• Security & Safety: Ensuring guest safety by managing key cards, securing valuables in safety deposit boxes, and adhering to safety procedures. 

Required Skills

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Customer Service: A professional and helpful demeanor.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and MS Office.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. 

Typical Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is often required, along with experience in customer service roles.
