Job Description

A Hotel Front Office Executive serves as the primary guest contact, managing the entire guest cycle from check-in to check-out, handling reservations, and resolving complaints. Key duties include providing superior customer service, managing room assignments, processing payments, and maintaining lobby,, security, and communication standards to ensure a seamless guest experience. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services & Interaction: Welcoming guests, facilitating check-ins/check-outs, and providing information about hotel facilities, dining, and local attractions.
  • Reservations & Room Management: Handling booking inquiries, managing room availability, and coordinating with housekeeping for room status updates.
  • Financial Transactions: Processing payments, managing billing, handling foreign currency exchanges, and maintaining cashier floats.
  • Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving guest complaints or issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Communication & Coordination: Answering phones, directing calls, and acting as a liaison between guests and departments like Housekeeping or Maintenance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintaining guest records, generating daily reports, managing room keys, and ensuring lobby cleanliness.
  • Security & Safety: Ensuring guest privacy, safeguarding personal information, and adhering to safety protocols. 

Key Skills Required:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and MS Office.
  • Customer Service: High emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience.
  • Multitasking: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
