Waiter / Steward

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet customers, seat them, present menus, explain specials, make recommendations, and answer questions about ingredients or allergies.
• Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders, often using Point of Sale (POS) systems, and relay them to kitchen/bar staff.
• Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, checking in with guests after courses to ensure satisfaction.
• Table Maintenance: Clear dirty dishes, reset tables, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Payment Processing: Deliver bills, process cash/credit payments, and handle transactions accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and other staff for efficient operations and special requests.
• Problem Solving: Address customer complaints or concerns with a positive attitude.
