Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the cold storage facility, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient handling of temperature-controlled goods. The role involves managing inventory, maintaining facility standards, ensuring compliance with cold chain protocols, and leading a team to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor warehouse activities to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Optimize the layout of storage areas for maximum efficiency while maintaining temperature requirements for different product categories.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including picking, loading/unloading processes.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and other inventory management tools for tracking, planning, and reporting.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, including supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hygiene standards, and cold chain protocols.
• Prepare and present operational reports, including KPIs, inventory status, and compliance metrics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Coordinate labor handling and arrange staff timings based on workflow requirements to maintain efficiency.
• Accommodate variable shift schedules to meet operational needs effectively.
• Ensure that all physical audits are conducted personally to maintain accuracy and accountability.
• Facilitate the efficient sourcing and management of local labor to meet operational requirements.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, cold storage management, and logistics.
• Proficiency in computer applications, ERP software, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
