Role

1.   Responsible for the manufacturing process of multiple models of Batching plant and new products.
2.   Leading, Training and Motivating the Subordinates and ensure they perform their duties effectively.
3.   Responsible for Process Improvement & Cost reduction.
4.   Ensuring the Implementation & Sustenance of TPM activities in the shop floor. 
5.   Responsible for implementing & substance of 5S activity in the shop floor.
6.   Ensuring the Operational Procedures are being followed without deviating.
7.   Ensuring the adherence to the production schedule & dispatches.
8.   Ensuring the material / machines availability in production line to produce planned target by close co-ordination with inter-department.
9.  Highlighting the quality issue being faced in the shop floor while assembling.
10.  Capturing the data’s related to PQCDSM
11.   Monitoring of production progress and trouble shoot as and when required to achieve planned target. 
12.  Responsible for skill development of workmen by giving On the Job training.
13.  Ensuring the Work order operational confirmation & FG posting on SAP is done promptly.
14.  Ensure shop floor housekeeping & workmen safety at the highest level of industrial practice.
15.  Responsible for raising ECR if any constraint in assembly process and implementation of ECN.
16.  Responsible for implementing the corrective action for the customer complaints.
17.  Responsible for reduction in snag report of functional inspection & Pre-Dispatch Inspection.
18.   Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures for the betterment of manufacturing process and interdepartmental communications / co-ordinations.
19.   Ensure, maintaining of ISO & OHSAS documents and records kept up to date
20.   Display of welding procedure standards (WPS) in shop floor at respective workstations and monitor the welders for the WPS adherence and also co-ordinate with welding department for the periodic welder qualification requirements.
21.  Impart education & training on new system development and the importance of adherence to team members.
22.   Ensuring tools & machinery up keeping.
23.  Responsible for implementing & substance of the corrective action taken for the customer complaint .
24.  Responsible for raising Line Rejection when material got rejected during assembly.
25.  Responsible for maintaining the drawings that has been issued for assembly process.
26.   Accountable for material issued for assembly process.

Required Skills:

1.   Good interpersonal relationship for effective manpower handling
2.   Must have strong knowledge in reading & interpretation of engineering drawings and standards.
3.   Fair knowledge on personal computer software skills
4.   Knowledge in TPM 
5.   Knowledge in Welding 
6.   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7.   Experience in Handling of employees in Unionized company
8.   Knowledge in ISO /EMS/OHS
9.   Ability to persuade others to change existing practices.
10.   Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management.
11.   Presentation skill
