About You and the role

As an Associate Operator you will Operate assigned equipment or areas of the Plant. Perform and report on operational related activities per the Operations Dashboard (OPD)-Tasks List. Utilizes discretionary time to enable sustainable performance results for the facility. Utilizes operations knowledge and experience, to proactively operate the plant in a safe, reliable and optimal manner. Works with Shift Team members to efficiently anticipate and resolve unplanned events within the capabilities of the shift team and effectively escalates issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate support roles. You may provide training to less experienced operators. You will require established basic technical skills to perform a range of routine work activities using existing processes and methods.

Responsibilities / Duties

• Safely operate and monitor plant equipment and processes to meet production goals.
• Perform routine checks, scheduled tasks, and respond to unplanned events and also Ensure compliance with Operating Discipline policies and procedures
• Conduct effective shift handovers and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support continuous improvement by tracking performance metrics and identifying opportunities
• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance as per guidelines
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's in chemical, Mechanical or other equivalent.
• Freshers can also apply .1-2 year of relevant experience will be added advantage.
