Field Risk Officer

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Conduct field visits to verify business existence, operational status and profiling of applicants/customers.
  2. Collection of  documents such as GST registration, trade licenses, invoices, and business premises wherever required.
  3. Interact with business owners to gather necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) details and supporting documents.
  4. Neighbour and third-party checks
  5. Perform background checks and confirm business legitimacy through neighbours/local market references.
  6. Capture geolocation along with time stamp and photographic evidence of the business premises for records.
  7. Report suspicious or non-compliant cases to the concern location/area managers. 
  8. Submit detailed verification reports, including observations and discrepancies to the concerned area/location.
  9. Maintain records/trackers of completed verifications and pending cases.
  10. Maintain professionalism and ensure a positive banking experience for customers.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  1. Strong knowledge of banking KYC norms and RBI guidelines.
  2. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Attention to detail and ability to identify fraudulent activities.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage field visits efficiently.
  5. Basic computer skills for report submission and data entry.
  6. Familiarity with local business markets and trade practices.
  7. Investigation skills
