Job Description Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET)

Location: Surat (Training) + Site Locations

Gender Prefrence : Male

Role Objective:

To train and develop fresh engineering graduates in design, production, quality, and service operations, preparing them for independent roles within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Fabrication (Mechanical Focus):

• Assist in fabrication activities and shop floor operations
• Coordinate with design team for drawing execution
• Support in material planning and handling
• Perform basic quality checks (QC) and documentation

2. Electrical & Automation (Electrical Focus):

• Assist in machine wiring and panel work
• Support in PLC, sensors, and control systems basics
• Help in troubleshooting electrical issues
• Participate in machine testing and commissioning

3. Quality & Documentation:

• Maintain QC reports and inspection records
• Ensure adherence to company standards and processes
• Prepare daily work updates and reports

4. Service & Site Work:

• Visit sites for installation, servicing, and inspection
• Coordinate with clients for basic issue understanding
• Provide on-ground support to service engineers

5. Training & Learning:

• Undergo structured training in:
• Production & fabrication
• Design coordination
• Electrical systems (basic)
• Service operations
• Learn manpower handling and shop floor discipline

Key Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical / electrical engineering concepts
• Understanding of manufacturing / industrial environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving approach

Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Freshers can apply

Other Requirements:

• Willing to work in factory + field environment
• Open to travel for site visits
• Ready to work under hands-on training structure

Training & Growth Path:
