Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: sarthana jakatnaka
Reports to: Head of Business Development / Managing Partner / Marketing Director
Job Type: Full-time-9.45AM TO 7PM
Salary-15k to 25k (depend on interview )
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our legal firm. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, enhancing client relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal services industry, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across practice areas.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and high-net-worth individuals.
Support partners and lawyers in client retention and cross-selling initiatives.
Market Research & Intelligence:
Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity.
Provide strategic insights to inform client targeting and business planning.
Pitch & Proposal Support:
Prepare tailored pitch documents, RFP responses, capability statements, and presentations.
Coordinate with legal teams to create compelling content and messaging.
Marketing & Branding:
Collaborate with the marketing team on events, webinars, thought leadership, and digital campaigns.
Help develop client-facing materials including brochures, newsletters, and case studies.
CRM & Data Management:
Maintain and update client databases and CRM tools.
Track leads, follow-ups, and performance metrics.
Event & Networking Support:
Plan and execute client seminars, networking events, and industry conferences.
Represent the firm at industry events to build brand awareness and client contacts.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2–5 years of experience in business development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of the legal market and professional services landscape.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience working with law firms or legal consultants.
Knowledge of specific legal practice areas such as corporate law, litigation, intellectual property, etc.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
