Production Engineer

Job Title: Production Engineer

Location: Palsana, Surat

Experience: 2–4 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or a related field

Salary Range: Starting from ₹20,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Control

• Execute daily production plans and work orders as per schedule
• Monitor production progress to ensure timely achievement of targets
• Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials

2. Shop Floor Supervision

• Supervise machine operators and technicians during production shifts
• Ensure adherence to safety norms, quality standards, and process guidelines
• Address shop-floor issues and provide hands-on technical support

3. Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with maintenance and design teams for smooth production flow
• Perform minor troubleshooting and support continuous process improvements
• Assist in quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production reports and shift-wise logs
• Record machine breakdowns, downtime, and material consumption
• Track rejection rates, rework, and material wastage data

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, conventional machines)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
• Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Preferred QualificationsExperience in a CNC machining or mechanical component manufacturing setup
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen practices
