Account Assistant

• Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries and ledger posting
• Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and payment vouchers
• Record and reconcile bank statements, cash, and expenses
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Assist in GST-related work (data preparation, returns, reconciliation)
• Help in preparing monthly and annual financial reports
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required data
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with Tally, ERP systems, or accounting software
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Understanding of GST and statutory compliance is preferred
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Experience1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
