Accountant – Job Description (1 Year Experience)

An Accountant with 1 year of experience responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including journals, ledgers, and invoices

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Record accounts payable and receivable transactions

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

Support the preparation of tax returns and statutory filings

Assist with payroll processing and expense verification

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Coordinate with auditors and support audit activities

Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
