Key Responsibilities

1. Jewellery Inventory & Software Management (Gati/SJE Plus)

• Stock Maintenance: Manage daily stock inward/outward entries in Gati software (Smart Jewel ERP), including loose diamonds, gold, and finished jewellery.
• Tagging & Barcoding: Generate barcodes and price tags for new stock using Gati’s labeling module.
• Order Tracking: Monitor custom orders and repairs within the software to ensure timely delivery and billing.

2. Financial Accounting (Tally Prime/ERP 9)

• Day-to-Day Accounting: Record all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in Tally.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily cash tally and weekly bank reconciliation. Reconcile Gati inventory reports with Tally financial ledgers to ensure data matches.
• Vendor & Customer Management: Maintain ledgers for suppliers and customers, ensuring timely payments and collections.

3. GST Filing & Taxation

• GST Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) specifically for the jewellery sector (understanding HSN codes for different purities/stones).
• E-Way Bills: Generate E-Way bills for inter-state or high-value intra-state movement of goods.
• TDS & Tax: Deduct and file TDS returns; assist the external CA with income tax computations and annual audits.
