Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts and daily accounting entries.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare bank reconciliation statements.

Manage GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance.

Prepare invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.

Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.

Maintain proper records and documentation.

Requirements

B.Com or equivalent qualification.

Experience as an Accountant or Accounts Executive preferred.

Knowledge of accounting software (Tally / ERP).

Basic understanding of GST and taxation.

Proficiency in MS Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

Payroll handling experience.

Audit support experience.

Experience in manufacturing or service industry.
