Job Title: Accountant

Location: Vesu, Surat

Job Summary: 

Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and effective use of Zoho Books/Zoho Finance for reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities: 

1.    Accounting s Bookkeeping

o   Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Zoho Books.

o   Maintain ledgers, reconciliations, and journal entries.

o   Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.

2.  Accounts Payable s Receivable 

o   Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

o   Monitor customer receivables and ensure timely collections.

o   Prepare aging reports and follow up for overdue accounts.

3.  Taxation s Compliance 

o   Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

o   Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

4.  Reporting s Analysis 

o   Generate financial statements and MIS reports using Zoho.

o   Support management with cash flow statements, expense analysis, and cost reports.

5.  Audit Support 

o   Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

o   Maintain proper documentation and audit trails in Zoho.

6.  Process Improvement 

o   Suggest ways to improve automation and efficiency in Zoho Books.

o   Ensure accuracy of data migration and integration with other systems (if applicable).

Key Skills & Competencies: 

·       Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance.

·       Hands-on experience with Zoho Books / Zoho Finance is mandatory. 

·       Good analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.

·       Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis.

·       Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications s Experience: 

·       Education: B.Com / M.Com

·       Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting.

·       Software Skills: Zoho Books (Mandatory), MS Excel, Tally (Optional).
