Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Surat office. Our company is engaged in creating innovative, eco-friendly products from waste materials, with manufacturing operations in Valsad and marketing & finance functions based in Surat.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

Maintain day-to-day accounts and record all accounting entries in Tally ERP. - Manage inventory accounting and coordination between production and sales using POS and Tally. - Handle documentation — invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, vouchers — in full GST compliance. - Compile data for GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESIC filings. - Prepare MIS reports, cost statements, and reconciliations. - Handle bank reconciliation, vendor and customer ledgers, and payment follow-ups. - Support in finalization of accounts and statutory audit. - Manage banking operations, payroll processing, and related compliance. - Coordinate with CA for all accounts, finance, and legal compliance matters. - Act as a single point of contact for data compilation across accounts, finance, tax, and compliance.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES -

Proficiency in Tally ERP (including inventory & GST modules). - Working knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and income tax compliance. - Strong command of MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, MIS). - Good communication and coordination abilities. - Energetic learner with a problem-solving mindset and positive attitude. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
