Job Description – Accounts & Purchase Executive
Position: Accounts & Purchase Executive
Department: Finance & Procurement
Location:Katargam Surat
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Director
Role SummaryThe Accounts & Purchase Executive will handle day-to-day accounting operations along with procurement activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely vendor payments, cost-effective purchasing, and proper documentation.
- Key Responsibilities Accounts (Finance)
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime
- Record purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ledgers
- Manage GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)
- Monitor receivables and payables ageing
- Process vendor payments and follow up for collections
- Maintain petty cash and expense records
- Assist in monthly closing and audit documentation
- Prepare basic MIS and expense reports
Purchase (Procurement)
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations
- Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with vendors for timely material delivery
- Track pending orders and maintain purchase register
- Verify purchase bills with PO and GRN
- Develop and maintain vendor database
- Support inventory coordination with store/operations
Required SkillsWorking
- knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel
- Understanding of GST and basic accounting principles
- Vendor management and negotiation skills
- Good documentation and follow-up ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic email drafting and communication skills
- Preferred QualificationsB.Com / M.Com or equivalent
- 1–4 years experience in accounts and purchase role
- Experience in IT / EV / Electrical / EPC industry (preferred)
