Admission Counsellor

Job Summary

The Onboarding Client Counselor is responsible for guiding new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into our services. This role combines client support, counseling skills, and coordination to help clients feel informed, supported, and confident from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding phase
• Conduct onboarding sessions to explain services, processes, and expectations
• Assess client needs, goals, and concerns to ensure proper service alignment
• Provide emotional support, guidance, and reassurance as clients begin their journey
• Coordinate with internal teams (operations, counselors, support staff) to ensure seamless onboarding
• Maintain accurate client records and onboarding documentation
• Track onboarding progress and follow up to resolve questions or issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements
• Gather client feedback to improve onboarding processes and client experience
• Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in client onboarding, counseling, customer success, or a related role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with CRM systems or client management tools
• High level of empathy, professionalism, and discretion
• Preferred Skills & CompetenciesBackground in counseling, coaching, or mental health support
• Experience working in healthcare, wellness, education, or service-based organizations
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
