Area Sales Manager

 Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Jewellery Brand

Salary: ₹70,000 – ₹90,000 (based on experience)

Location: Surat

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee sales operations for assigned region and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Manage retail store performance and support store teams to improve sales and customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key clients.
• Analyse regional market trends and competitor activities to strategies sales plans.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor product display, VM standards, stock levels, and staff performance.
• Train, motivate and guide sales staff to ensure excellent product knowledge and upselling skills.
• Coordinate with marketing teams for BTL activities, events, promotions, and exhibitions.
• Drive new store openings, expansion plans, and area-level business development strategies.
• Prepare and share weekly/monthly sales reports with management.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure smooth operations across all stores in the region.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or related field.
• 4–7 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the jewellery, luxury, or retail industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical ability.
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
• Good understanding of retail operations and customer behavior.
