Barista

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages as per standard recipes
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of beverages
• Take customer orders accurately and handle billing (POS/cash/card)
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee station, counters, and seating areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Manage stock of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
• Assist in opening and closing café operations
• Handle customer feedback politely and resolve basic complaints
• Upsell café products and promotions when appropriate

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and milk texturing
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-centric attitude
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math and billing knowledge
