Car Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components (e.g., engines, transmissions, steering systems).
• Inspect vehicles for wear and tear and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
• Communicate with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle issues and repair timelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in automotive technology preferred.
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic or technician (minimum 1-3 years).
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems (engine, drivetrain, brakes, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
