Dispatch Officer

We are currently seeking a dedicated Dispatch Officer with at least one year of experience to join our team. The Dispatch Officer will play a crucial role in coordinating the efficient dispatch of goods and services to our customers. Basic English knowledge is required for effective communication with team members and customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the timely dispatch of goods and services to customers based on established schedules and priorities.
2. Receive and review orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information before dispatching.
3. Assign tasks and routes to drivers, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of goods.
4. Communicate instructions and updates to drivers effectively, using basic English language skills.
5. Monitor delivery progress and address any issues or delays promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including order details, delivery schedules, and driver assignments.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
8. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during the dispatch process, including vehicle maintenance and driver safety protocols.
9. Handle basic customer inquiries and complaints regarding delivery status or issues, providing timely and professional assistance.
10. Assist in evaluating and improving dispatch processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of one year of experience in dispatch operations, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
2. Basic English language proficiency for communication with team members and customers.
3. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
4. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
8. Flexibility to work non-standard hours and weekends as needed.
