E-Commerce Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

The Ecommerce Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations related to online marketplaces and ecommerce platforms. This includes order reconciliation, payment tracking, settlement management, vendor coordination, returns management, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily order reconciliation and ensure all orders are invoiced and accounted for correctly across ecommerce marketplaces (e.g., Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.).
• Track payments and settlements from various platforms and reconcile them with bank statements.
• Coordinate with marketplaces for payment disputes, chargebacks, and settlement issues.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, commissions, deductions, and penalties.
• Prepare regular reports on receivables, payouts, deductions, and overall account health.
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements.
• Work closely with the ecommerce team to resolve operational or financial discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and reconciliations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in ecommerce accounting or marketplace operations (preferred).
• Strong understanding of ecommerce payment cycles and settlement processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Tally.
