Electrical Project Site Engineer – Summary JD

• Execute and supervise electrical installation activities such as cable laying, termination, panel installation, Earthing, and commissioning as per approved drawings and project requirements.
• Review SLDs, electrical layouts, cable schedules, technical specifications, and BOQ; ensure work quality as per standards and client requirements.
• Plan and allocate daily work, manage manpower, and coordinate with civil, mechanical, automation teams, contractors, and vendors for seamless execution.
• Perform testing and validation including continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, loop checking, Earthing resistance measurement, and assisting in LV/MV commissioning.
• Monitor material availability, track consumption, raise material requirements, and support procurement in ensuring timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports, measurement sheets, inspection requests, and maintain records for QA/QC and billing purposes.
• Attend project review meetings to discuss work progress, timelines, risks, site execution challenges, resource requirements, and payment milestones.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards including PPE usage, hazard identification, toolbox talks, work permits, and overall site HSE guidelines.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and internal teams for approvals, inspections, punch points closure, and project handover documentation.
• Skills Required: Site supervision, drawing interpretation, safety compliance, project coordination, reporting, material management, electrical testing, troubleshooting, MS Office.
• Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with relevant on-site execution experience.
