Job Title: Electrical Proposal & Design Engineer

Role Overview

Responsible for preparing accurate electrical panel estimations and proposals, along with detailed design and engineering of LT panels in line with project requirements and applicable standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProposal & Estimation

·        Prepare detailed cost estimations and techno-commercial offers for LT electrical panels

·        Develop BOQs, material take-offs, and pricing based on specifications and drawings

·        Coordinate with vendors for quotations, technical clarifications, and cost optimization

·        Conduct techno-commercial negotiations and follow-ups until order finalization

Design & Engineering

·        Design and develop LT panels including:

o   MCC (Motor Control Centres)

o   PCC (Power Control Centres)

o   PMCC (Process Motor Control Centres)

o   APFC (Automatic Power Factor Correction Panels)

o   PLC-based Control Panels

·        Prepare and review:

o   GA (General Arrangement) Drawings

o   SLD (Single Line Diagrams)

o   Control & Power Wiring Diagrams

·        Ensure designs comply with relevant IEC/IS standards and project specifications

·        Coordinate with project, execution, and procurement teams for design finalization

Documentation & Coordination

·        Support clarifications during pre-bid and post-bid stages

·        Assist during FAT / inspection stages by providing design documentation

·        Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals

Experience & Skills Required·        

Experience:

o   1–2 years in estimation and proposal preparation for LT panels

o   1–2 years in designing MCC, PCC, PMCC, APFC, and PLC panels

·        Technical Skills:

o   Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical)

o   Working knowledge of EPLAN

o   Strong understanding of LT panel components, schematics, and wiring practices

·        Soft Skills:

o   Good communication and coordination skills

o   Ability to manage multiple proposals and design tasks simultaneously

o   Attention to detail and cost-conscious design approach
