Job Description
- Measure the panel for wire routing and cut wires appropriately.
- Fit lugs (copper or aluminum caps) onto the ends of the wires.
- Wire the panel according to the drawing specifications.
- After completing control wiring, initiate power wiring following the same procedure used for control wiring.
- If requested by the client, obtain ferrule and wire labels for identification from the drawing department and attach them as needed.
- Ensure proper tightening and fitting of power wiring, and mark to confirm secure connections.
- Ground the door and panel.
- Mount identification plates (e.g., danger signs, company nameplates, busbar chamber, cable chamber, panel name plates, feeder name plates, etc.).
- Forward the assembled panel to the Quality Control (QC) department.
- Address any remarks from the QC department and resolve the identified issues.
- Encase live busbars with appropriate shrouding.
- Assist with panel wrapping as needed.
- Support the disassembly, loading, and unloading of the panels.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any testing-related issues discovered during assessments.
- Review the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure that the materials received from the store match the BOM.
- Check the General Arrangement (GA) drawing against the BOM to confirm mounting options. Additionally, compare the BOM with the design to identify any material gaps.
- Mount materials according to the drawing specifications.
- In case of any material shortages, coordinate with the store to obtain and mount the necessary materials.
- Obtain ferrule and wire labels for identification from the drawing department.
- Place requests for required wires from the store department and verify their receipt.
- Regularly report to the supervisor.
- Cover for absent colleagues as required.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by upper management. Carry out any other tasks assigned by upper management.
