Equity Dealer

Position Overview:

Equitypandit is seeking for an Equity Dealer, who will play a crucial role in financial markets by facilitating the buying and selling of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives on behalf of clients. The primary goal is to maximize profits while minimizing risks. Equity Dealer will analyze market trends, economic indicators, and company financials to make informed trading decisions. This role requires quick thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to stay informed about market developments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis of financial markets to stay informed about economic trends, company performance, and other factors that may impact securities prices.
• Interact with clients to understand their investment goals, risk tolerance, and preferences. Provide advice and recommendations based on market conditions and the client's financial objectives.
• Execute buy and sell orders on behalf of clients in a timely and efficient manner. Use trading platforms to place orders and ensure accurate and timely execution.
• Monitor and manage the risk associated with trading activities. Implement risk management strategies to protect clients' investments and minimize potential losses.
• Adhere to financial regulations and compliance standards. Ensure that all trading activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, client interactions, and other relevant information. Prepare reports for clients and internal use.
• Keep clients informed about market developments, changes in investment strategies, and any other relevant information. Communicate with other departments within the organization to coordinate trading activities.
• Stay updated on financial market trends, economic indicators, and changes in regulations. Continuously improve knowledge and skills to enhance decision-making and client service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service. Cultivate relationships with institutional clients, fund managers, and other market participants.
• Utilize trading platforms, financial software, and other technological tools to analyze markets, execute trades, and manage client portfolios efficiently.
• Monitor the performance of client portfolios and provide periodic reports. Adjust investment strategies as needed to align with client goals and market conditions.
• Collaborate with research analysts to stay informed about stock recommendations and market trends. Provide feedback on market conditions and client preferences to inform research efforts.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Knowledge of financial markets, economic indicators, and trading strategies.
• Experience with trading platforms and market analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Mandatory NISM Certifications for Series VIII.
• Proficiency in financial research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Experience: 

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
• Experience in the relevant industry is preferred.

Qualification: Minimum 12th pass
