Fabric Merchandiser

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Fabric Merchandiser who has recently graduated from NIFT or a similar institute. The candidate will assist in coordinating between buyers, production, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of fabric orders, sampling, and timely delivery.

• Key Responsibilities:Assist in handling fabric merchandising activities from sampling to order execution.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for sample development.
• Maintain communication with buyers regarding fabric specifications, approvals, and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain merchandising documentation, order sheets, and follow-ups.
• Track order status, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
• Support in fabric sourcing, swatch development, and sample presentation.
• Ensure quality standards and buyer requirements are properly communicated to production.
• Maintain records of fabric developments, approvals, and dispatch details.
• Required Skills:Basic knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and garment production processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced textile manufacturing environment.
• Preferred Candidate Profile:NIFT / Fashion / Textile Design graduate preferred.
• 0 to 1 year experience in fabric merchandising, internships also considered.
• Passion for textiles, fabric development, and merchandising.
