Hospital Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Support & AssistanceAssist patients in moving between wards, ICU, OT, diagnostic areas, and rooms.
• Support patients with basic needs under supervision of nursing staff.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transfers.
• Hygiene & Housekeeping SupportClean and sanitize patient beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of wards, patient rooms, and common areas as per hospital protocols.
• Assist in changing bed linen and disposing of biomedical waste correctly.
• Ward & ICU SupportSupport nurses and doctors in non-clinical tasks.
• Ensure availability of basic ward supplies (linen, wheelchairs, stretchers, etc.).
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines strictly.
• General DutiesRespond promptly to instructions from nursing and hospital administration.
• Follow hospital rules, discipline, and patient confidentiality norms.
• Report any safety, hygiene, or patient-related concerns to supervisors immediately.

Requirements & Skills:

• Basic understanding of hospital hygiene and safety practices.
• Physically fit to handle patient movement and standing duties.
• Polite, compassionate, and patient-friendly attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in shifts.
• Willingness to work in wards, ICU, and emergency areas.
