OVERVIEW:

Vishnukrupa is a prominent cloth manufacturing brand dedicated to quality and innovation. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team and help streamline our operations. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring financial operations run smoothly. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong accounting knowledge, and have experience with payment management, petty cash handling, and financial reporting. The candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with payment follow-ups and coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update payment details in Excel and maintain payment registers.
• Perform online entries in the software.
• Record payments in invoices accurately.
• Send outstanding payment reports to the CRM Head.
• Conduct follow-ups for payments pending for 90+ and 120+ days via calls and messages.
• Manage petty cash and prepare reconciliations.
• Review and approve orders, and coordinate on Teams for order management.
• Report unapproved orders by email to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Finance Head to resolve queries when required.
• Oversee payment management and ensure timely follow-ups.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE REQUIRED:

• Experience Required:  Minimum 6 months and maximum 2 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of general accounting principles.
• Software Expertise: Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas and reports.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Skills: Familiarity with general computer operations and office tools.
