Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled CVD diamond growth Machine Operator who can operate and monitor (CVD) machines used for the growth of lab-grown diamonds. The operator will be responsible for proper machine setup, stable process conditions, and consistent diamond growth while maintaining safety and production quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation

Operate CVD diamond growth machines according to standard operating procedures.

Start, stop, and monitor microwave plasma reactors during diamond growth cycles.

Maintain stable process parameters such as microwave power, chamber pressure, gas flow, and substrate temperature.

2. Process Monitoring

Continuously monitor machine parameters including:

Forward and reflected microwave power

Vacuum pressure

Gas flow rates (Hydrogen, Methane, etc.)

Identify abnormal conditions and report them immediately.

3. Substrate Preparation

Load and unload diamond seeds or substrates into the vacuum chamber.

Ensure proper cleaning and positioning of substrates before growth.

4. Quality Control

Inspect grown diamonds for defects, growth uniformity, and contamination.

Maintain process logs and production records.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of vacuum systems and microwave equipment

Ability to read and understand machine control panels and alarms

Attention to detail in monitoring process parameters

Basic troubleshooting ability
