Mechanical Engineer

Design and develop mechanical systems for containerized or modular battery energy storage systems (BESS), including thermal management, enclosure design, racking, and mounting systems.

Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure mechanical-electrical integration across renewable systems (solar, wind, hydrogen).

Analyze structural loads, vibration, thermal stresses, and ensure system reliability under varied environmental conditions.

Support field deployment, installation procedures, and commissioning of BESS solutions.

Lead or support failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with suppliers for component selection, prototyping, and manufacturing support.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (UL, IEC, ASME, etc.), and safety regulations.

Participate in cross-functional teams with project managers, EPC contractors, and system integrators.

Prepare documentation, test plans, and reports for design validation and certification.
