We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Merchant to manage the product lifecycle from selection and procurement to performance tracking. The Merchant will work closely with vendors, buyers, planners, and the marketing team to ensure the right product mix is available, priced competitively, and aligned with market trends and customer demands.

Product Selection & Buying

• Analyze trends, customer behavior, and past sales data to select and purchase products.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers/vendors to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders or markdowns to optimize stock.
• Work with planning teams to manage stock turn and minimize excess inventory.

Sales & Performance Tracking

• Review sales reports to assess product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and visual merchandising teams to drive product visibility and sell-through.

Vendor Management

• Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and cost efficiency.
• Manage product costing, margins, and profitability.

Market & Competitor Analysis

• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Recommend assortment changes and pricing strategies based on market insights.
