Roles & Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across office, data center, and trading environments. • Manage and monitor network connectivity for trading exchanges including NSE, BSE, and MCX. • Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. • Manage multi-ISP connectivity, BGP routing, and traffic engineering for optimized network performance and redundancy. • Monitor and maintain low latency network performance required for trading applications. • Configure and maintain VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, and network segmentation. • Implement and manage firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and network security controls. • Monitor network health using tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar monitoring systems. • Troubleshoot network outages, latency issues, packet loss, and connectivity problems. • Manage NSE colocation and exchange connectivity infrastructure. • Coordinate with ISPs, exchanges, and vendors for circuit provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Ensure high availability and redundancy of critical network infrastructure. • Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, and performance tuning. • Maintain proper network documentation, diagrams, and configuration backups. • Support cybersecurity audits and compliance requirements related to network infrastructure. Skills & Qualifications • Strong expertise in network infrastructure management and troubleshooting. • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, etc.). • Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, and routing protocols. • Experience with multi-ISP network architecture and redundancy design. • Knowledge of network security concepts including VPNs, firewall policies, IDS/IPS. • Experience with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.). • Familiarity with low latency network environments used in trading infrastructure. • Understanding of exchange connectivity (NSE/BSE/MCX) and colocation environments is an added advantage. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under critical environments. Preferred Certifications CCNA / CCNP Fortinet NSE / MikroTik MTCNA (optional but preferred) Key Requirements • Ability to work in a high-pressure trading environment with minimal downtime tolerance. • Strong communication and vendor coordination skills. • Willingness to handle critical network incidents and urgent troubleshooting.
