Job Summary

hellohelp.in is looking for a smart, fast, and reliable Operations & Assignment Manager to manage daily assignment of helpers (maids) and riders. This role is critical to ensuring timely service delivery by coordinating helpers’ work locations and assigning riders to transport helpers efficiently across Surat.

The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHelper Assignment & CoordinationAssign helpers to customer jobs based on availability, location, and timing
• Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, and urgent requests efficiently
• Ensure helpers reach the correct location on time
• Maintain daily helper attendance and work allocation records

Rider Assignment & Logistics

• Assign riders to transport helpers between locations
• Optimize routes based on Surat geography to save time and fuel
• Coordinate continuously with riders for pick-ups and drop-offs
• Handle delays, emergencies, or route changes smoothly

Operations Management

• Monitor live operations through apps, calls, and internal systems
• Communicate clearly with helpers, riders, and internal teams
• Update job status, completion, and issues in the system
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operational flow without service disruption

Reporting & Records

• Maintain accurate daily logs of assignments and movements
• Report operational issues and suggest improvements
• Ensure data accuracy in company applications and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good computer knowledge and comfort using mobile and web applications
• Strong understanding of Surat city geography
• Excellent multitasking and time-management skills
• Fast decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Clear communication skills (Gujarati/Hindi preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume coordination
• Prior experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, or field management is a plus
