Production Engineer

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to manage day-to-day operations of our machine shop. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, process execution, quality control, and ensuring timely delivery of components as per specifications.

• Key Responsibilities:Plan and monitor daily production activities in the machine shop
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines, manpower, and resources
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate manufacturing
• Oversee measurement and inspection of components using standard instruments
• Maintain product quality as per defined standards and customer requirements
• Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance teams
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce rejection
• Ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines
• Key Requirements:Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in machine shop operations (CNC/VMC/Turning/Milling)
• Strong knowledge of production planning and process control
• Good understanding of measurement tools (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
