Quality Control Chemist

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible QC Chemist to join our Quality Control team.

The candidate will handle routine testing, laboratory documentation, and QC instruments to ensure that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet quality standards and SOP requirements.

This role is suitable for experienced candidates who are willing to learn and handle multiple QC-related responsibilities.

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Conduct physical and chemical tests as per approved SOPs and test methods

Operate QC instruments such as:

• pH meter
• Conductivity meter
• Muffle furnace
• Leak test apparatus
• Stability chamber
• Other basic laboratory instruments

• Prepare, standardize, and document test solutions, reagents, and standards
• Maintain instrument calibration, validation, and usage records
• Monitor and record stability samples and support stability studies
• Ensure cleaning, maintenance, and proper handling of lab equipment
• Maintain QC documentation, analysis reports, logs, and registers accurately
• Follow SOPs, GMP, GLP, and safety guidelines strictly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the QC laboratory
• Coordinate with Production / QA teams when required

• Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC)
• Understanding of SOP, GMP, GLP practices
• Hands-on knowledge of basic laboratory instruments
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks responsibly
• Basic MS Excel / documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and follow processes
