Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to oversee and improve our product and process quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products, ensuring raw materials meet standards, driving quality assurance initiatives, and contributing to R&D for continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Inspection & Testing

Conduct in-process and final product inspections.

Prepare inspection reports and maintain records.

Identify and report non-conformities; coordinate corrective actions.

2. Raw Material Inspection

Inspect incoming raw materials (steel, GI, HDPE, etc.) as per quality standards.

Work closely with procurement and vendors to ensure compliance.

3. Quality Assurance

Implement and maintain quality assurance systems (ISO, internal SOPs).

Conduct regular audits and ensure documentation is up-to-date.

Train production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.

4. Quality Process Improvement & R&D

Analyze defects and process deviations; suggest improvements.

Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and test new/improved manufacturing processes.

Use tools like Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, and PDCA for process enhancement.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering/ Industrial Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience in a quality controll of manufacturing/engineering setup.

Knowledge of QA/QC methods, standards (ISO 9001), and tools.

Familiarity with materials and Steel

Skills Required:

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Effective communication and report writing.

Working knowledge of measurement instruments, QC tools, and MS Office.

Knowledge of Ultra Sonic Testing

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
