Reports ToQuality Manager / Production Manager

• Key ResponsibilitiesConduct fabric inspection (GSM, shrinkage, shade variation, defects)
• Perform in-line quality checks during cutting, stitching, and finishing
• Ensure garments meet company quality standards and buyer specifications
• Monitor sewing quality, measurements, seams, stitching, and trims
• Identify defects and coordinate with production for corrective action
• Supervise QC checkers / line inspectors
• Carry out final inspection before packing and dispatch
• Maintain quality records, reports, and checklists
• Ensure AQL standards and internal quality norms are followed
• Reduce rejection, alteration, and rework
• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and stores teams
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and packing quality
• Required Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of garment construction
• Understanding of fabric types (cotton, polyester, blends, knits, woven)
• Knowledge of stitch types, seam types, measurements
• Familiar with AQL / quality standards
• Good communication & team-handling skills
• Basic documentation & reporting
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• QualificationDiploma / Graduate (Textile / Garment / Fashion preferred)
• 2–5 years experience in garment manufacturing QC
