Restaurant Cashier

Job description:

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the billing counter and handle cash, UPI, card, or other payment methods.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Ensure correct billing, apply discounts/offers if applicable, and issue receipts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic cashier counter area.
• Answer basic customer queries related to menu items, combos, or offers.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow.
• Handle refund or exchange requests professionally and as per company policy.
• Maintain records of daily transactions and report any discrepancies.
