Retail Sales Executive

Customer service

• Greet customers and provide a friendly and helpful experience.
• Answer questions about bakery products, ingredients, and specials.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints or refer them to management.
• Assist with product selection and take special orders. 

Transaction and cash handling

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales accurately.
• Handle and count cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide correct change and receipts.
• Process returns and issue gift cards. 

Store maintenance and operations

• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and the overall bakery.
• Restock shelves and display cases with products.
• Package and label baked goods for sale.
• Monitor product freshness and remove expired items.
• Assist with inventory checks and rotation. 

Other duties

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with preparing simple beverages like coffee.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
