Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive (Solar / Field Sales)Job SummaryThe Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, meeting potential customers, explaining solar solutions, conducting preliminary site surveys, and converting leads into confirmed installations. The role requires strong communication skills along with basic technical understanding of rooftop solar systems.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation

  • Identify potential residential and commercial customers.
  • Conduct door-to-door visits, field campaigns, and follow-ups.

2. Customer Consultation

  • Explain solar system benefits, electricity bill savings, and government subsidy schemes.
  • Provide basic information about installation process and timelines.

3. Site Survey

  • Conduct preliminary rooftop/site survey at customer location.
  • Check available roof area, direction, shadow issues, and structural suitability.
  • Collect electricity bill details and required site photographs.
  • Share survey data with technical/design team for system proposal.

4. Sales Conversion

  • Present quotation and system proposal to the customer.
  • Handle customer queries and objections.
  • Close sales and ensure order confirmation.

5. Documentation & Coordination

  • Collect required documents for installation and subsidy process.
  • Coordinate with operations, technical, and installation teams.

6. Customer Relationship

  • Maintain good relationship with clients until project completion.
  • Support customers with basic queries during installation.
  • Required SkillsStrong communication and persuasion skills
  • Basic understanding of solar systems and electricity bills
  • Ability to conduct basic site assessment
  • Field sales and customer handling experience
  • Basic mobile reporting and documentation skills
  • QualificationDiploma / Graduate (preferred in Engineering, Marketing, or Business)
  • Experience0–3 years in field sales / solar sales / energy sector
