Senior Account Executive

Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in GST compliance to join our finance firm. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end GST processes, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting overall accounting and taxation functions.

• Key Responsibilities:Handle end-to-end GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and annual returns
• Ensure timely filing of GST returns and payments
• Manage GST reconciliation between books, returns, and portals
• Handle GST notices, assessments, and audits
• Maintain accurate accounting records as per statutory requirements
• Assist in tax planning and advisory related to GST
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for GST and accounting matters
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory laws (basic knowledge required)
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in GST and accounting
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and compliance procedures
• Experience working in a CA / Finance firm preferred
• Proficient in Tally, GST portals, and MS Excel
• Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines
• Preferred Skills:Experience in GST audit and litigation support
• Knowledge of Income Tax returns and TDS
• Client-handling experience
