Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead and oversee maintenance operations for equipment, machinery, and facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and safety through effective maintenance strategies, planning, and team leadership.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, supervise, and coordinate all maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and predictive) to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues on production equipment and utilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for recurring equipment failures.
• Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports for audits and performance tracking.
• Mentor and train junior maintenance staff and technicians.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Also knows the Scada Operations.

QualificationsEducation:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).

Experience:

• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment.
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating multiple maintenance projects.
