Roles of a Site Engineer

1. Project Execution – Ensure that the work on-site is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
2. Coordination – Act as a link between the project manager, architects, consultants, contractors, and workers.
3. Supervision – Monitor daily site activities, manpower, and subcontractors.
4. Quality Control – Maintain construction quality and safety standards on site.
5. Reporting – Keep daily/weekly progress records and update management.
6. Problem Solving – Handle site-level challenges and provide quick solutions.

✅ Requirements:

• Knowledge of construction/interior finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings (AutoCAD knowledge preferred).
• Understanding of material specifications and BOQ.
• Site measurement and billing knowledge.
