Job Title: Solar Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer

Job Summary:

The Solar O&M Engineer is responsible for the smooth operation, monitoring, and maintenance of solar power plants to ensure maximum energy generation and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools

Identify faults, alarms, and performance issues in solar systems

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar panels, inverters, AC/DC systems

Coordinate solar panel cleaning and maintenance activities

Ensure minimum downtime and maximum plant availability

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly O&M reports

Track generation data and compare with expected output

Coordinate with vendors and service teams for breakdowns

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

Support warranty claims and documentation

Technical Skills Required:

Knowledge of Solar PV systems (modules, inverters, transformers)

Basic understanding of electrical systems (AC/DC)

SCADA monitoring and data analysis

Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting

MS Excel and reporting skills

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy

Experience:

0–3 years experience in Solar O&M (Freshers can apply)

Key Skills:

Good communication skills

Team coordination

Basic computer knowledge

Work Location:

Solar Plant Site / Office / Field Work
