Tally Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tally Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally ERP and a good understanding of Indian accounting and taxation systems.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Handle sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries
• Manage GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, returns, reconciliation)
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Handle accounts payable & receivable
• Maintain cash book, ledger, and trial balance
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts
• Coordinate with CA for audits, returns, and compliance
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Handle TDS entries and returns (if applicable)
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Preferred SkillsExperience in manufacturing or industrial accounting
• Knowledge of inventory accounting
• Familiarity with compliance and audit processes
